    “Bei dem Ort Piegaio handelt es sich um einen abgelegenen, kleinen Miniort mit einer kleinen Bar und einem Restaurante. Der nächste Supermarkt (Penny) befindet sich im 12 km entfernten Diecimo, sowie auch andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die wunderschöne Stadt Lucca (Lidl) ist ca. 22 km entfernt und jeden Besuch wert, weitere tolle Städte: ca. 95 km bis Firenze, ca. 40 km bis Viareggio ans Meer, Pisa ca. 34 km, unbedingt sehenswert noch Siena, Volterra, San Gimigniano und Montecatini Terme.”
