Renovated, modern furnished 1 1/2 room flat on the 1st floor of a very beautiful and protected patrician house. Situated in the middle of the historic village centre of Samedan.

The flat was renovated in 2021 (new parquet floor, freshly painted). Lift, entrance hall with cloakroom, kitchenette, dining area, separate wardrobe, living/bedroom with seating area and double bed, Swisscom TV/radio, bathroom with bathtub, WC with Closomat. 33 m2.

Outside car park directly in front of the house, but not allocated. Public car park (for a fee) 200m from the flat.

Shopping facilities 5 min. from the flat on foot (Coop, butcher, cheese dairy, bakery, chemist, pharmacy).

Railway station 5 min. on foot and bus stop 2 min. on foot.

There is also a cantonal bank on site and a Credit Suisse ATM at the railway station. The post office is also in the village.

Winter: The Corviglia/Piz Nair, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalb and Zuoz ski areas, as well as the smaller and finer areas, offer skiers and snowboarders fantastic pistes. Glide on the long, narrow boards through the impressive landscape in all its facets. Whether in the elegant classic style or the dynamic skating technique, you can experience Nordic skiing in its own dimension on the varied kilometres of trails. On 580 kilometres of hiking trails across all mountains or by mountain bike on 400 kilometres of enjoyable trails: the Upper Engadine offers a first-class network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails in the midst of the pristine mountain world and the inspiring Upper Engadine lake district. The three flow trails on the Corviglia provide the right flow. The lakes of the Upper Engadin are also popular with sports enthusiasts. Kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling: the possibilities are almost endless. The expanse of the inspiring high valley can be experienced in a particularly impressive way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And in addition to the wide range of sporting activities on offer, there are also first-class cultural attractions such as a visit to the museum or the numerous art galleries in the various villages.
In winter, 350 kilometres of the finest pistes in the Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza ski areas and the family-friendly Zuoz invite you to enjoy true skiing and snowboarding fun. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen lakes of the Upper Engadine sparkle with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.
Families can enjoy the Engadin sunshine on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or toboggan down into the valley on the 4.2 km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.

Location description: Samedan - The lively village in the Upper Engadine
Samedan is not only the district capital, but also the hub of the Rhaetian Railway and home to a small international airport, the highest in Europe.
Despite its economic importance, it has retained its Engadine way of life: in the village centre, traditional rows of houses with sgraffiti make for picture postcard subjects. For those interested in culture, the village has exciting highlights in store, above all the renovated cultural tower "La Tuor" and the traditional "Planta House" with its residential museum and Romansh library.
Guests can relax and unwind high above the rooftops of Samedan in the four-storey Mineralbad & Spa. On the local mountain, Muottas Muragl, you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the Engadin and its lake landscape.
In summer, the La Senda nature trail above Samedan and the water trail at the bottom of the valley are a must for those with a thirst for knowledge and an adventure for children. Modern trails get bikers going, while the 18-hole golf course just outside Samedan makes golfers' hearts beat faster. In winter, the Survih ski area with children's ski school, the cross-country skiing centre and a fast-paced toboggan run attract visitors.
