    “Wijlre is a small village with good access to the neighbouring town of Valkenburg. This area is used by cyclists from Holland who need some hills! We hired bikes for a day - the cycle hire was very straightforward. I'd recommend an electric bike if you're not an accomplished cyclist - we hired a couple of ordinary bikes and one electric. We stayed here because it was close to Aachen in Germany and were due to visit.

    Wijlre itself doesn't have much going on but there are some nice circular walks that you can do from the accommodation.”
