    “Het dorp had gelukkig een kruidenier (gesubsidieerd door het dorp) want door omstandigheden hadden wij geen eigen vervoer. Zodoende toch vers brood, groente, fruit en kaas binnen loopafstand. Het kerkje is vaak open voor bezichtiging, met behulp van navigatie op smart phone wandelingen in de omgeving gemaakt naar o.a. de Loire. Toch veel autoverkeer op de provinciale wegen terwijl het landschap een verlaten lege indruk maakt. Weinig toerisme m.u.v. de kastelen en het Loire dal.”
