    “Der Ort La Jorette liegt ca. 12 km oberhalb von Vionnaz. So musste man, wenn man mit dem Fahrzeug unterwegs war, immer diesen Weg, in Serpentinen und recht engen Kurven, nutzen.
    Oben im Ort gibt es in der Nähe Restaurantes, Kaffees und einen kleinen Laden für Lebensmittel für den täglichen Bedarf.
    Man hat hier sehr Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und sportlicher Betätigung. Für Kinder gibt es einen Abenteuerpfad, leider nur auf französich beschrieben. Wintersportmöglichkeiten gibt es hier auch.
    Zum Preisniveau muss man sagen, man ist in der Schweiz und im Verhältnis zu Deutschland ist alles sehr teuer, ein bis zwei Drittel mehr. Das sollte man unbedingt beachten.
    Die Sehenswürdigkeiten kann mann alle gar nicht aufzählen, aber in der Wohnung ist ein dicker Ordner wo man sich erkundigen kann, sehr zu empfehlen. Auch hat der Ort eine Touristen Info, sie Bemühen sich auf Deutsch und geben gerne Auskunft, (Montags geschlossen)”
