    “The house is higher on the mountain than I expected. I was hoping to be able to walk into Stumm to do shopping and get bread. Although possible, it is a real hike and will take a fit person the better part of an hour. By car it is a short drive, however, and Stumm (and Kaltenbach across the river) provides everything you need.

    However, being up that high also gives you a full sweeping view of the Ziller Valley and we found that while the valley was still under a layer of clouds, we were enjoying sunshine.”
