    “In Curau selbst ist der Gasthof Hinz zu empfehlen, ansonsten fehlt im Ort ein Bäcker oder ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen. Diese kann man aber auf kurzer Distanz z.B. in Bad Schwartau erreichen. Wer Interesse am Golf spielen hat ist hier natürlich sehr gut aufgehoben. Naturliebhaber und Fahrradfahrer kommen von hier aus voll auf ihre Kosten. Schnell ist die Ostsee erreichbar wie auch im Innenland die Holsteinische Schweiz mit ihren vielen Seen und interessanten Orten. Auch bei Regenwetter gibt es unzählige Dinge zu unternehmen.
    Die Gegend bietet alles was das Herz begehrt. (Sehenswürdigkeiten, Klettergärten, Schwimmbäder, Fahrradfahren, Wandern, Kulinarisches usw.)”
