    “A lovely place, the villa is well positioned to visit the unmissable tourist sites. We visited the Salvador Dali museum in Figures, Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona, the Cathedral and city walls in Girona. We explored the local mountain areas visiting Romanya de la Selva and other castellas on hills. We snorkelled in the beautiful cove of Cala Rovira just along from Platja D'aro. We visited the wonderful local cementrinis which are so different to UK graveyards. Platja D'aro is a vibrant town which a great shopping street lined with good quality shops and lovely eateries.

    We visited at the end of October, just out of season so some things were shut, but the area was reasonably quiet of too many tourists and we were blessed with fantastic weather.
    It's a great place.”
