    “Sehr ruhig auch in der Hochsaison mit mehreren hübschen kleinen Buchten, die auch ganz gut zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Die nahegelegen kleine Insel ist einen Tagesausflug wert. Die Umgebung ist noch nicht zu stark verbaut. Es gibt noch viele Felder und Olivenhaine am Hang zum Meer. Die Auswahl an Restaurants ist nicht sehr groß, aber es gibt ein paar, die ganz OK sind.”

Einzige Einschränkung: Es gibt keine kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeit in fußläufiger Nähe. Zwischen Doubrovnik und Cavtat gelegen, hat man gleich viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe.”

    “Von "Ort" kann man nicht wirklich sprechen. Da ist nur das Hotel Plat und an der oben gelegenen Srasse eine im wörtlichsten Sinne "Mini-Markt". Neben dem Hotel-eigenen Restaurants gibt´s noch eins den Hotelzugang hoch zur Strasse, aber ansonsten ist da nichts. Also, am besten den Wagen oder Moped nehmen und nach Cavtat, Mlini oder Dubrovnik fahren. Da gibt´s dann genug Restaurants. Wirfanden übrigens Cavtat recht schön und gemütlich. Wir können das Restaurant gleich am Anfang der Fussgängerzone (linke Seite) zum rückwärtigen Teil des Ortes empfehlen.

    Ein Fährboot verkehrt in Richtung Cavtat (30 Kn) und Dubrovnik (80 Kn) (Hin- und Rückfahrt) am Anleger neben dem Hotel. Am besten bei der Rezeption nach den Abfahrtzeiten erkundigen.”
