    “Parada da Sil ist wenige Kilometer vom Haus entfernt ein kleiner Ort, in dem es neben einigen (guten) Restaurants das notwendigste für den täglichen Bedarf gibt. Nett für einen kleinen Bummel.

    Das Haus selbst liegt in San Andres, einem kleinen Weiler oberhalb des Sil. Sehr ruhig in wunderschöner Umgebung.”

    “Im Ort Parada de Sil kann man das nötigste Einkaufen. Für mehr Auswahl muss man leider in die größeren Orte fahren. Aber wir wussten es vorher und haben unseren Einkauf entsprechend geplant.
    Die Menschen in dieser Gegend sind sehr freundlich. Leider sind unsere spanischen Sprachkenntnisse sehr gering und englisch wird dort nicht so viel gesprochen. Aber mit Händen und Füßen, einem Lächeln und der Einstellung sich einfach mal überraschen zu lassen (auch wenn man nichts verstanden hat), fährt man ganz gut.”
