    “Veel barretjes en restaurantjes, direct aan mooi strand met veel voozieningen. Zwembad binnen en buiten op loopafstand. Steden als Braga, Guimaraes, Barcelos met auto makkelijk bereikbaar. Porto bereikbaar met metro.
    Flinke wandeling naar het oude centrum (2 tot 3 km)”

    “Kleine boodschappen zoals fruit en brood kun je prima in het dorpje zelf halen. Voor grote boodschappen moet je zo'n 4km rijden naar de 'Modelo', een grote supermarkt.
    Het plaatsje heeft een gezellige boulevard met winkeltjes en restaurants. De meeste menukaarten zijn alleen in het Portugees (soms Engels). Aardige mensen. Alles is erg goedkoop. Op een terrasje betaal je 80 ct voor een kopje thee/koffie en 1,10 voor een frisdrank. Ook het eten is niet duur.
    Het strand is wat klein en in de zee wordt het snel diep. Voor (kleine) kinderen niet aan te bevelen. Het zwembad is groot genoeg en niet druk.
    Wij zijn geen enkele Nederlanders tegengekomen tijdens onze vakantie.”
