Carefully renovated, former vintner’s house with a beautiful big garden and a view of the vineyards and the surrounding forests

The holiday house is on a plot of around 2000m² in a quiet and rural location in a little hamlet in the Dordogne.

The detached holiday house of around 107m² is a former vintner’s house and has been very carefully renovated. It can accommodate four people. The ground floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and washbasin, a WC, and a storage room with a washing machine and ironing utensils. The first bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200cm) and a cupboard, the second has two single beds (90 x 190cm) that can also be joined together as a double bed, as well as a cupboard. The dining room with an open kitchen has a dining table with four chairs and a big wall cupboard. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. You can make yourselves comfortable in the living room on two sofas in front of the TV with digital channels, or in front of the lovely fireplace (firewood is provided at a small fee). From there, small wooden stairs lead to a mezzanine level with a sofa bed. The bedrooms have radiators with oil central heating, while the rest of the house has under-floor heating.

Outside there is a beautifully planted garden, with an unobstructed view of the surrounding landscape and the owner’s vineyards. Garden furniture, deckchairs, a parasol and a solar shower are provided, as well as a table tennis table. Children will enjoy the tree house. There are two car parking spaces on site.

The owner can provide four adult bicycles for use free of charge for the duration of your stay. You are greeted with a bottle of wine made on site. You can visit the owner’s vineyard.

The holiday house is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday in the Dordogne. Wine lovers will enjoy it here, also owing to the owner’s vineyard. Sun worshippers will also enjoy the lake with a beach about 5km away or the outdoor pool about 5km away. It is about 5km to the nearest grocery shop.

    “Absolut empfehlenswert. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich lieb und nett, immer hilfsbereit, wir haben uns einfach wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gut und schön ausgestattet, uns hat gar nichts gefehlt. Der Garten ist riesig und wunderschön mit Sonnendusche und einem kleinen Teich, Tischtennis und Fahrräder sind auch vorhanden.
    Da unser Gastgeber selber ein Winzer ist, und einen tollen Wein anbietet, ist das Ferienhaus auch für Weinliebhaber sehr zu empfehlen.
    Unser Fazit: jederzeit wieder. Auf diesem Wege nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön.”

    “Das wunderschön gelegene Ferienhaus hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. In einem liebevoll angelegten Garten mit hauseigenem Teich, Kräutergarten und Himbeerhecke am Rande des Weinbergs gelegen, ist es für ruhe suchende das Paradies. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und man findet alles, was man braucht. Die überaus sympathischen Vermieter erwarteten uns trotz später Stunde sehr freundlich und standen uns hilfsbereit und mit guten Ausflugstipps zur Seite. Es war eine rundum schöne Woche, leider viel zu kurz.

    Da das Haus sehr abgelegen ist, benötigt man auf jeden Fall ein Auto und geht zum Einkaufen am besten gleich in die 10 km entfernt liegende größere Stadt, wo man alles findet was man benötigt.”
