With beautiful views over the Vosges mountains from its terrace, this attractive timber cottage is set in large shared grounds, on the edge of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Park. This simple but modern cottage has a fenced pond in the grounds, an animal park with goats, and a children’s play area, all shared with another holiday cottage and the nearby owners. You can also enjoy a kota, a Finnish chale for grilling fish and meat (against fee, 45 euros per evening for 8 persons), or book the private sauna for a fee of 22€ for 2 hours. The nature park is a paradise of pine forests and mountain lakes, offering marked paths for walking or mountain biking, nature trails, paragliding, as well as breathtaking views over Alsace. St. Maurice has shops, restaurant and swimming pool, and not far away are the pretty villages of Alsace, with their half-timbered, coloured houses.

    “Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Tolle und sehr herzliche Vermieter, die viel Verständnis für schlechtes französisch aufbringen :-). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, man kann die Kinder beruhigt spielen und toben lassen. Der Spielplatz und das Trampolin sind ein Highlight für unsere Mädels gewesen. Auch die Ziegen und der Esel sind sehr lieb. Das eingezäunte Grundstück war für unseren durchtriebenen Hund mehr als perfekt.

    Einzig die Matratzen waren für meinen Rücken etwas zu hart, dennoch war es ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.
    Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!”
