Set in a peaceful hamlet in historic La Chalard, famous for Richard Lionheart, just 50 yards from the Dordogne which is reputed to have 1001 castles and chateaux and beautiful towns such as Brantome and the ‘City of Horses’ – Pompadour, where you will find a stunning Chateau and racecourse with regular meetings throughout the year. The accommodation is spread over three properties, there is the main house with a games room and pool table, an attached Porcherie and a separate cottage, all situated around a large gravel courtyard with large swimming pool area. A swimming lake with sandy beach, play area and pedalos is 4km away, and just a 15 minute drive takes you to the larger town of St Yreix– la-Perche with its popular night market during the summer months with food stalls and live music. This unspoilt area offers a variety of outdoor activities and attractions – riding, fishing, cycling and walking. Limoge with its famous porcelain, museums and golf is just a 40 minute drive.
