In the pretty Périgordian countryside called ‘Périgord Vert', this ancient farmhouse has been completely and tastefully restored to offer a perfect holiday base from which to explore the beautiful countryside. Set in a very peaceful location, a few exterior steps lead to a private swimming pool and the fresh stone house is surrounded by lovely woodland walks. You can also discover the Gorges of Auvézère from Genis, or visit the magnificent château of Hautefort nearby. Enjoying the slow pace of countryside life, the farmhouse gives easy access to some of the finest medieval architecture in France, and is close to Europe's most important prehistoric caves at Lascaux. There is a large horse riding centre at Pompadour 15km away, or fishing along the little streams around. There are two free bicycles and one child's bicycle provided on the premises, for exploring this wonderful area.

    “Großes Haus mit viel Platz und einer Menge Möglichkeiten an einem absolut ruhigen Ort. Etwas ab vom Schuss, aber man erreicht in 10 bis 15 Minuten alles was man braucht. Das Haus ist wunderbar und wir lieben es. Fahren nächstes Jahr zum dritten mal hin.

    Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, großer Kühlschrank vorhanden.

    Absolut traumhafter Pool :-)”

    “Het huis is heerlijk rustig gelegen.Er is een grote tuin zodat men altijd een plekje in de zon of schaduw kan vinden. Het zwembad is prima. Er is een vriendelijke eigenaar. De schoonmaak kan zeker beter evenals de ontvangst van de wifi. Ook zijn de bedden niet al te best,erg smal en zeer hard. Qua inrichting is er alles wat een huis aangenaam maakt, goede oven, vaatwasser, wasmachine en een flinke koelkast. Al met al een huis om nog eens naar terug te gaan.”
