Large villa with pool, panoramic views. For 1-2 family

Just half an hour from the airport and the ferry harbour in Olbia, our STAZZU is located high above the Gulf of Arzachena, on the north-eastern edge of the Costa Smeralda, in a monumental rocky landscape, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, wild olives, wild pear trees and wild fennel, lavender, mirto and broom bushes and rock roses. The 360-degree view from up here is breathtaking. There is always a light breeze. This is particularly pleasant in the summer months.

From the country road between Cannigione and Arzachena, a private path about 2 kilometres long branches off, lined with old cork oaks, junipers and maquis, which leads to our house. The house is built according to ecological principles and is situated on a hill in a spacious, partly rocky landscape with typical Sardinian vegetation.
The house has about 180m2 and offers plenty of space and privacy for 6 people with its large pool and spacious garden with many seating areas.

Up here, away from the noise of the streets, there is a relaxing silence, but in a few minutes you can reach the small, lively towns such as Cannigione, Arzachena, San Pantaleo, or Porto Cervo, the centre and port of the Costa Smeralda, with their colourful markets, small cosy cafés and restaurants (recommendations and contacts can be found in the house), individual shops and supermarkets, the wonderful beach promenades and playgrounds. In Cannigione harbour you can hire sailing and motor boats, bicycles and motorbikes. This is where the boats moor for round trips to the 60 islands of the "La Maddalena Archipelago" (Arcipelago di La Maddalena). Large parts of the island world are protected. Corsica can be reached by boat in less than an hour. The most beautiful beaches in Sardinia with picturesque bays for snorkelling, diving and windsurfing are also in the immediate vicinity. You can also hike through wild landscapes, explore ancient towns and fortifications, prehistoric nuraghi and excavations. Further north towards Palau you will find the world-famous windsurfing spot "Porto Pollo" on the peninsula "Isola dei Gabbiani" with windsurfing, diving, kitesurfing and sailing schools for children and adults.

Back at the house, peace and relaxation await you, as well as a large pool to cool off in. And if the weather is not so pleasant, you will find plenty of board games for young and old in the house. So there's no chance of boredom.

An integrated home office with free high-speed internet allows you to work undisturbed. From the open-plan living area with fireplace you have a magnificent view over the land and sea. Above the living area, a small staircase leads to the gallery for an undisturbed retreat with a sofa and reading chair. The dining area in the immediate vicinity of the spacious, open-plan kitchen has access to the terrace and pool. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms at the rear. Linen change every 14 days.

On the large terrace, half of which is covered, there is a granite-built outdoor kitchen with fireplace and barbecue as well as an additional dining table for barbecues. From here there is access to a small solarium with breathtaking views. All rooms in the house are air-conditioned. (optional), The large pool and the shady garden can be reached from the terrace. Both are within sight of the house. The large pool (17.5 x 3.5 x 1.7 metres) is particularly suitable for sporty swimming. The expansive panorama gives you the impression of floating above the clouds. Use at your own risk. Open from the beginning of April to the beginning of November.

A stone staircase inside the house, connected to the basement, leads to the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, ironing board etc. and the spacious flat. It has a kitchen, dining and sleeping area and bathroom. The flat has a partially covered terrace and its own entrance to the garden and pool. Use at your own risk. The pool is open from the end of March to the beginning of November.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned. The use of air conditioning is optional and is charged on site according to consumption. Non-smoking. There is a folder in the house with detailed descriptions of good restaurants, places of interest, suggestions for excursions and lots of useful information.

    “Cette maison est un véritable havre de paix que nous avons découvert, tant dans son emplacement, une vue époustouflante, que par la villa elle-même entre terre et mer qui est décorée avec soin et goût et très bien équipée. Au coeur d'une pinède à perte de vue, et magnifiquement arborée de fleurs de couleurs, la propriété est parfaitement entretenue. Sapiscine sans fin a une vue est imprenable. Rien n'est laissé au hasard dans cette propriété de Sardaigne où nous avons pu nous ressourcer en famille et entre amis. Très bien située, sa proximité de la mer tout en étant dans la montagne permet de rejoindre aisément l'ensemble des sites du Nord Est de la Sardaigne. C'est la Sérénité qui l'emporte, même si son accès dans une route chaotique peut impressionner à son premier usage, mais tout se mérite... Les propriétaires ont toujours été très réactifs et chaleureux à chacune de nos sollicitation tout comme les relais sur place.”

    “Kurz und gute perfekt ist zu empfehlen. Positiv: Lage, Ausstattung, Betreuung vor Ort. Negativ: Grösse der Duschen. Zufahrt, 4 Tore davon muss für 3 immer ausgestiegen werden. Restaurant: Pizzeria da Serafino e Giovanni - Kurz und gute perfekt.Schnellen Service. Ausflüge: Capo d'Orso - Herrliche Aussicht.”

    “Das Objekt besticht zu allererst durch seine spektakuläre Lage. Der Blick in die sardischen Berge und die großartige Landschaft bis hin zum Meer ist unbeschreiblich schön. Das Haus befindet sich in einen sehr großen, mit viel Sinn und Gefühl angelegten, ausgesprochen gepflegten Garten, um den sich ein Gärtner mit sehr viel Herz kümmert.
    Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich und macht ein robustes Fahrzeug nötig. Das Ziel ist aber auf jeden Fall den Weg wert.
    Das Haus selbst ist gut, teilweise sogar üppig ausgestattet. Man hat wirklich das Gefühl nicht in Ferienhaus, sondern in das private Domizil der Eigentümer-Familie einzuziehen, was es wohl auch ist. Diese hat das Objekt ganz individuell gestaltet und ihm mit einer Vielzahl von Kunstwerken einen ganz persönlichen Charakter geben. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und insgesamt alles, was man benötigt. Abschließend noch das absolute High-Light: Der lange Riesen-Pool, von dem aus man ebenfalls den Traumblick genießen kann. Fazit: Wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Haus buchen!”
