House Molin de Sotu

Casa molin de sotu, recently restored in stone and wood in the village of Loroñe, council of Colunga.
Located in the foothills of the Sueve mountains, on the Asturian coast between the towns of Villaviciosa and Ribadesella.

Casa molin de sotu with a capacity for six people, has three bedrooms, two double and one twin, three bathrooms, a corridor, a living room with fireplace, kitchen (fully equipped) and heating, the mill where corn was once ground, two mills are still preserved, the rest occupied by a dining room with fireplace.

It is arranged, with a careful and cosy decoration and splendid views of the Sierra del Sueve, to enjoy the splendour of nature.

Outside there is a typical Asturian granary and barbecue, with a hectare of land, trees of various kinds (apple trees, walnut trees, palm trees, etc. ....), gardens, children's area and parking, a few meters from the house passes the river (Espasa).

    “Das Haus, eine alte Mühle, liegt ruhig, am Rande eines kleinen Dorfes. Ein wunderschöner grosser Garten läd zum verweilen ein. Am Rande des Grundstücks plätschert ein Bach. Es gibt mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten und einen Grill. Vom Garten blickt man auf die Berge. Die Zimmer sind urig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist mit allen Utensilien ausgestattet, die man zum kochen benötigt. Leider waren Grundzutaten, wie z.B. Salz, Zucker, Pfeffer, etc. nicht vorhanden. Dafür gab es von den netten Eigentümern 2 Flaschen selbstgemachten Cidre zur Begrüßung. Zum Einkaufen fährt man ca. 10 minuten nach Colunga. Dort gibt es diverse Supermärkte, Apotheken, Tankstelle, etc. Zum wunderschönen Strand von La Isla fährt man ca. 5 Minuten. Die Gegend ist landschaftlich sehr schön. Es bieten sich zahlreiche Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung an, wie z.B. Ribadesella, Picos de Europa, Villaviciosa mit seinen romanischen Kirchen.”

    “I recommend! Very nice house, fully equipped, very spacious. Beautifully located on a large plot. The owners - great contact, polite and helpful people. Additionally, you can count on a few bottles of cider. ;)”

    “Ein sehr schönes Haus. Etwas abseits gelegen, aber dafür ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist gut und man hat alles, was man braucht. Es ist sauber und gepflegt. Sehr nette Besitzer. Das Haus befindet sich auf einem sehr großen Grundstück mit einem wunderschönen Garten mit vielen Apfelbäumen. Das Haus befindet sich außerhalb des kleinen Dorfes (was aber nicht schlimm ist, da es im Dorf eh nichts von Interesse gibt). Man ist somit auf das Auto angewiesen, um einkaufen zu fahren oder um zum Strand zu kommen. Die Entfernungen sind aber gering, uns hat es nicht gestört. Wir haben dort sehr schöne Tage verbracht und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.”
