Cerrig Cottage is ideally suited to two people wishing to have a very convenient and quiet base close to Brecon – 1 mile by road or a nice walk over two fields and then along The Groves beside the River Honddu. On the other side of the lane is a track that leads up to Pen-y-Crug, an impressive iron age hill fort. Brecon one mile.

    “Das Haus ist ideal für 2 Personen zum Erkunden der Brecon Beacons in Südwales.
    Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Urlaub braucht, das Haus ist sauber und die Wirtsleute sehr freundlich. Das Bad ist etwas eng und nur mit einem kleinen Handwaschbecken ausgestattet, die Dusche funktioniert aber gut. Elektrische Heizmöglichkeiten sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig etwas abseits von Brecon in ländlicher Umgebung gelegen, allerdings erwies sich der empfohlene Weg in die Stadt über Felder und durch den Wald eher für Pfadfinder da er teilweise schon zugewachsen war. Also waren wir bis auf einmal immer mit dem Auto in der Ortschaft.
    Die in der Ferienhausbeschreibung hinterlegte Position hat uns auch erst mal auf die falsche Farm geführt.”
