This character rental property is located in the quiet, relaxing village of Montouliers, built into the hillside between the vineyards and valleys of the Minervois region. The Canal du Midi (a UNESCO World Heritage site) is just 5 km away. It offers its banks to walkers, who will be delighted to stroll along the shady lanes. Numerous marinas, such as those at Capestang, le Somail, Sallèles d'Aude and Homps, dot the river's course, making for entertaining stop-offs with boat and bike hire, restaurants and more. For travellers with an appetite for culture, there are plenty of places of interest within a 50km radius, including Carcassonne, the Cathar castles, Romanesque abbeys, the village of Minerve and Pézenas (where Molière lived).....
