Friendly House

Casa Amica is located in the romantic village of Tavole, a district of Prela in Val Prino. The location is quiet, with other village houses and their gardens in the neighbourhood. The view of the surrounding olive groves is marvellous. The house is reached via a narrow road. The car park is approx. 30m from the house. The nearest beach in Imperia is approx. 20 minutes' drive away.

Some beautiful swimming pools can be reached on foot by following the road to Villa Talla. There is a typical restaurant in the village and a charming village shop in Molino di Prela, the neighbouring village.

Various beautiful hikes or mountain bike tours can be undertaken from the front door. A refreshing dip in the swimming pools is always an experience. The famous Taggiasca olives are grown in the area, which is why there are many small oil mills that also sell olive oil.

Casa Amica has recently been extensively restored and now offers a beautiful setting for a relaxing holiday in Liguria for 2-5 people with its three bedrooms, bright and airy living room and eat-in kitchen with pellet stove.

The house also has a bright bathroom with shower, a separate WC and a second solar shower on the upper floor. The furnishings are modern and emphasise the original character of this 18th century village house. The original flooring on the upper floor is particularly beautiful with its pattern typical of the period.

Today it shows the traces of the long history of this house and contributes to the special atmosphere. The house has a large terrace with a dining table under an apricot tree. You can also barbecue here. The large pool (8 x 3.5 metres) is shared by the guests of Casa Amica and our second house next door, Casa Oreggi.

This means that 2 families or several friends can enjoy a relaxing holiday together. The washing machine, which is located in an outbuilding, is also shared.

Casa Amica has a large terrace with a dining area, some sun loungers and a barbecue. From here you have a beautiful view of the Val Prino. A second terrace in front of the house also has a dining table and a pergola for shade.
The pool is surrounded by a Mediterranean-style garden with additional sun loungers and a wonderful place to relax.

The house has 1 private parking space, which is located on the street below the property. Due to the stairs and steps in the house and on the property, the house is not ideal for people with limited mobility. Please enquire!
Tenants can obtain pellets for the stove themselves or order them from the caretaker.
As the keys are handed over contactlessly, the deposit is transferred before arrival.

Val Prino offers many beautiful hiking and mountain bike tours. There is a long-distance cycle path along the sea to San Remo along the former railway line. Cultural attractions include Imperia, Nice, Dolceacqua, Bussana Vecchia and many other historic towns nearby.

In Tavole and in the neighbouring villages there are some very good restaurants that are dedicated to typical Ligurian cuisine.
