Il Leccio' estate with swimming pool
The flat Il Leccio is part of the Agriturismo San Tommaso and is located on the sunny side of a hill 200 m above sea level. The absolute protagonist is the view of the endless valley and the SUN that from morning to evening creates wonderful atmospheres of light until sunset with breathtaking scenery. The typical Tuscan countryside with its cultivated hills, olive groves and vineyards will immerse you in a relaxing dimension to enjoy the dolce vita together with your friends or relatives.
We are 2 km from the village of Pomarance with shops, restaurants and cafes and 30 km from the sea and in a central position with respect to the most important cities of art such as Siena, Florence, Pisa, Lucca. In about 30 minutes you can reach Volterra, Massa Marittima, San Gimignano and the most important wine cellars in Tuscany. Ideal for trekking, cycling and horse riding. We are in the unmistakable scenery of the Val di Cecina, a land of ancient villages and numerous oases and nature reserves that surround the immediate surroundings. Just a few kilometres away are the springs of the Cecina river with wonderful stretches of water for bathing and enjoying unspoilt nature.
The property is part of an organic farm that produces extra virgin olive oil and quality wine that can be tasted and purchased directly at the villa on request.
Each flat has its own private space in the surrounding garden with gazebo, table, deckchairs, barbecue and parking. The pool is shared but each flat has its own private shaded area with deckchairs and sunbeds.
The park surrounding the farmhouse covers about 11,000 square metres on a hilly area with cultivated fields, a large olive grove and a small vineyard. The garden contains evergreen lawn areas and a multitude of plants, cypresses and many olive trees, which form the ideal setting for savouring the atmosphere of Tuscany.
The 16 x 8 m swimming pool is fenced in and has a waterfall, a whirlpool, a paved beach for swimming and a private shaded area with deck chairs and sun loungers for each flat or villa. The pool is sanitised with chlorine and can also be used at night thanks to lighting both inside and outside the pool. It will be available from the first Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
The farmhouse can be reached by car to the flats and has a private car park for larger vehicles as well.
The Il Leccio flat of about 78 square metres is located in the main house of the property and is on the ground floor with a loggia and table, in front there is the garden with barbecue and behind a part of private terrace with shaded pergola and panoramic view, table and deckchairs. Internally it has a comfortable living room/kitchen of about 30 square metres with a wood-burning fireplace, a large double bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds that can be joined together, a small bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with shower. The surrounding garden is fenced, can be accessed by remote-controlled gate and parking in front of the entrance. It has air conditioning in all rooms and central heating. Spacious surrounding garden with play area and panoramic walk. Private shaded area in the pool garden. Outside during the day it is possible to have noise from the nearby street.
The owner lives in the property and in addition to taking care of the vineyard, the olive groves and the garden, he is always available when needed.
