Holiday home on Gotland 700 metres to the sea

Beautiful holiday home by the sea on the sunny island of Gotland!

2009 newly built wooden holiday home in Ljugarn on the
island of Gotland (the sunny island of Sweden)
Gotland has the most hours of sunshine in Sweden!
From the beginning of May until well into October there are beautiful sunny days and mild temperatures!

There are (max. 2 adults) and 2-3 children up to 18 years allowed!!!

It is not allowed to share the house with other adults!

Beautifully situated house on a hill at the edge of the forest and 700m from the sea with sandy beach.

Not to forget non-smoking house!
And no animals!

World Heritage Site: Hanseatic city of Visby; Kneippbyn: Leisure park (where the real Villa Kunterbunt from the Pippi films is located) A large part of the Pippi Longstocking films were shot on Gotland. There is a grotto in the north-west and the island of Fårö in the north of Gotland. Katthammarsvik: The oldest fish smokehouse with a restaurant by the water.

In July-August there are lots of raspberries and blackberries around the house.
Please remember that the house is non-smoking and no pets!
Best time to visit is from April until well into October!

Location description: Ljugarn is situated in the east 45km from Visby the capital.
The cottage is about 600-700m from the beach.
The beach can be reached quickly on a path behind the house through the forest or on short paths.
There is a small harbour in the village.
The grocery shop is a 5-minute walk away.
There you will find everything you need for life.

Less than 20 metres from the house there are plenty of raspberries and blackberries growing in summer (for everyone!).

The ferries go to/from Nynäshamn, Oskarshamn or Vastervik (summer) or there are flights to Stockholm (Arlanda) and then on to Visby.
Favourable alternative: Fly to Stockholm and continue by bus to the ferry (Nynäshamn).
Ferry to Visby and from there taxi or bus with SAS directly to Stockholm (Arlanda) and from there various flights to Visby.
Other sports and leisure facilities: distances: beach 700m, tennis 500m, golf 500m.

There are 2 private car parks in front of the house.

No charging possibility for e-cars (danger of cable fire!)

Deposit: The deposit must be transferred in advance!

The house must be left finally cleaned!

The rooms: (ground floor) 1 large combination of kitchen, living and dining room with fireplace, 1 guest room with 2 beds, 1 bathroom with shower and 1 storage room. (Upper floor) 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 large bedroom with 4 beds and 1 storage room.
Additionally outside: 1 two-part shed, in which
3 adult bicycles, barbecue, parasol,
table and 6 chairs for the terrace and firewood (winter)
are available.
The house is connected to the municipal sewage system
and has a normal toilet in the bathroom (no dry toilet)!
TV, WII, BR player, coffee machine, toaster, ironing board, iron, soda stream with glass bottles (please bring your own cylinder), barbecue,
fridge-freezer.
German television (some Swedish programmes!)

In the village there is a small harbour, a grocery shop and a petrol station.
The grocery shop is a 5 minute walk away.
There is everything you need for life.
There are also restaurants, a bakery, pizzeria, kiosk and a beach café with mini golf.
The bakery, petrol station and grocery shop are open all year round.
In Brunna Dörren (larger inn) there are several bands with changing music in the summer.
There is 1 charging station at the Coop Ljugarn charging station operated by Coop. The charging station has a total of 2 charging points with IEC type 2 and Schuko sockets. The maximum charging power at this location is 3.7 kW. However, the actual charging power also depends on your e-vehicle and charging cable. The charging stations are located on Storvägen in LJUGARN. The charging stations are accessible around the clock.

    “It was strange to leave the laundry to the next visitors. But it was not to have bed linnen to borrow. Positiv: The service to lend bikes (we had missed that). Negativ: No mosquito nets for the windows”

    “Dům byl vybaven skvělě, chybělo snad jen WiFi, ale to je drobnost vše ostatní bylo nadprůměrné (pračka, lednička, velká TV, mikrovlná trouba, žehlička, vysavač, sporák, trouba, rychlovarná konvice). Dům leží ve velmi klidné části, hned za domem je les. Na pláž a k obchodu je to kousek dál, ale to také není velký problém. Myslím si, že pronajatý dům odpovídal ceně.”
