Wooden house with a very appealing ambience

This wooden house has a very attractively furnished living room with satellite TV (ONLY German programmes (33), Dutch programmes can unfortunately NOT be received), DVD player and a small library. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4-burner gas hob with extractor bonnet, dishwasher, toaster, Senseo coffee machine, kettle, combi-microwave with grill, fridge with freezer compartment. Kitchen towels are also provided and do not need to be brought along. We also try to ensure that things like soap, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tabs, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar are always available. Unless the previous tenant takes them with them or needs them and we do not have the opportunity to replenish them. In this case we ask for your understanding! Through the double doors in the living room you can reach the completely fenced garden with furnished terrace. The garden offers sufficient privacy thanks to the opaque ivy hedge. There you can enjoy the sun from morning to evening by the large pond. Important note: The pond basin measures 10 m x 2.50 m and is 80 cm deep. The surrounding base measures 25 cm. We therefore expressly point out that small children should not be left unattended in the garden.one bedroom has a double bed (180x200cm, separate mattresses) wardrobe and LED TV, the other has a spacious bunk bed (bottom 140x200cm, top 90x200cm), a wardrobe and a washbasin. Both bedrooms are fitted with blackout curtains and there is a further single bed (90x200cm) in the open gallery and a bathroom with washbasin and shower. Sufficient storage space for your towels/utensils available.toilet with hand basin and small library ;-)ExtrasOn the property there is a garden shed where you can park your bicycles. There you will also find 2 deckchairs, 2 relax chairs, various cushions, a barbecue (please use the barbecue area made of stone slabs) and a parasol. An electric awning with wind/rain sensor was installed in 2020. 2 parking spaces for cars also belong to the property and bicycles can be rented in the park. The house is not painted, some types of wood seal themselves over the years, as can be seen in mountain huts, for example. This is sustainable and ecological. This creates a silvery patina on the exterior façade. If you don't like this look, it's better to book another house:-)Special features Bed linen is compulsory to rent (10.00 p.p)Some sightsThe island of Tholen is a special island with its picturesque towns and villages. The many flower dikes and narrow polder paths create an attractive area for cyclists and walkers, and the oldest mill on the island is located on the Molendijk. The wooden mill has been here since the 17th century and in Goes you can take a ride on a real classic steam railway. This Goes-Borsele steam railway takes you back to the 1930s. You can take a seat in 1e, 2e or 3e class (wooden benches).     “Das Haus zeigt von aussen nicht, was es für ein Schmuckstück innen ist. Es umgibt einen und man fühlt sich "sofort" wohlig und entspannt. Die schöne Terasse mit dem sehr schön angelegten Goldfischteich führen zu weiterem "den Urlaub genießen und wirklich mal abschalten". Uns hat der Urlaub so richtig gut getan und wir kommen gerne wieder.
    Insgesamt ist es auch eine schöne Ferienhausanlage, denn hier schaut fast jedes Haus anders aus. Es lohnt sich mal durch die Ferienhausanlage zum Deichpad, dem kleinen Sandstrand, zum Hafen und durch Sint Annaland zu spazieren.
    Noch ein TIP: Mit dem Reiseführer (Buch) "Glücksorte in Zeeland"(von Anna Kontny) haben wir schöne Tagestouren durch Zeeland gemacht und bestimmt so mehr gesehen und lecker gegessen ;-)
    Danke für einen sehr schönen Urlaub an die Vermiter von diesem schönen Haus, dem sehr freundlichen Personal von der Ferienhausamlage und Anna Kontny. Und Danke auch an meine Kollegin Doro, die mich auf Zeelamd aufmerksam gemacht hat!”
