Cottage "The little cicada"

Beautiful studio holiday flat of about 35m2 living space with sleeping alcove, veranda and garden; hidden in the garrigue surrounded by rosemary and thyme with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees.

On the outskirts of Cesseras, a beautiful village in the heart of the Minervois, just 7 minutes north of Olonzac, a larger village with supermarket, doctors, pharmacy, shops, restaurants, bars and a large Tuesday market.
The property consists of two buildings on a plot of 3000m2 with stunning views of the Pyrenees and is surrounded by vineyards.
The holiday home has its own garden area. The enclosed porch offers shelter and great views.

The property is easily accessible by car .
The flat has an open plan layout with sitting area (with sofa bed), a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a separate sleeping area with double bed and a shower room with WC and washing machine.
The veranda offers protection from wind and rain and invites you to relax and enjoy nature.

There are also two bicycles for guests to use. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling.
The Canal du Midi is only a few minutes away and invites you to go for a walk or a bike ride or to stop in a café to savour a glass of the local wine.
Every Tuesday morning is the traditional market in Olonzac. After shopping, people like to take time for a coffee in one of the many surrounding bars, which are also perfect for 'people watching'.
For a refreshing dip, the Lac du Joarres (lake) outside Homps is just around the corner. You can not only swim, but also hike and refresh yourself in the restaurant.
The Mediterranean beaches of Narbonne Plage and Gruissan are only about 50 minutes away.
A visit to Barcelona by car is only 3 hours away and the train from Narbonne to Barcelona or Gerona is another alternative. Andorra is about the same distance.

This region offers both skiing in winter and swimming in summer, but also a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle.

    “Sehr netter, herzlicher und offener Empfang. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und es mangelte uns an nichts. Der Ausblick ist toll und die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist gut (einzig das Bett quietscht etwas ;)
    Das Bad ist Modern und Sauber. Es gibt trotz der abgelegenen Lage Leitungswasser in Trinkwasserqualität. Alles in Allem eine klare Empfehlung! Die Besitzerin wohnt neben an und ist bei Fragen und Problemen immer zur Stelle. Danke und bis zum nächsten Mal! Positiv: Die Aussicht, die Ruhe, der angenehme Aufenthalt.”

    “Wir haben die Ruhe abseits der Hektik genossen. Die Aussicht auf die Pyrenäen und der freie Blick in die Landschaft ist traumhaft. Wer den Strand nicht braucht, findet hier eine gemütliche Oase. Positiv: ein sauberes, gemütliches Kleinod mit allem, was es für eine Woche braucht. Negativ: nichts Umgebung: Zum Einkaufen muss man in das nächste Dorf fahren (ca. 4 km). Da haben wir gerne in Kauf genommen. Empfehlung: Couples - Herrliches Wander-, Jogging-, oder Bikegebiet. Das Städtchen Minerve lässt sich in knapp 2 Std. erwandern. Ausflüge: Minerve - Lässt sich auch zu Fuss erreichen. Malerischer Ort, auf die Felsen geklebt. Wir hatte hier herrliche Crêpes genossen!”
