Holiday flat Beckmann

Our cosy, country-style, 66 sqm flat with its generous floor-to-ceiling windows and a relaxing view of the garden, as well as a view of the Eisenberg and Upland, is located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of the village.

The village of Dorfitter lies between the three lakes (Edersee, Diemel and Twistesee), close to the Hanseatic town of Korbach (3.5 km) with its old half-timbered houses, churches and the limestone tower with its fossil site (Korbacher Spalte), an outdoor or indoor swimming pool and the Marbecktal recreation area, which can be reached directly from here. The nearby Eisenberg with its observation tower (was the destination of gold seekers from the 13th century until the Thirty Years' War) and its mine is certainly worth a visit, while the nearby Edersee with its barrier wall, Waldeck Castle, the wildlife park, the tree-top climbing trail and the summer toboggan run, its wide range of leisure activities and opportunities, invites you to go hiking, swimming and extensive cycling tours.The neighbouring Kellerwald National Park (Unesco World Heritage Site) and the Edersee primeval forest trail should be explored at the same time.a special feature of the Eder Valley is the upside-down house, standing on the roof and thus also all its furnishings. All you have to do is cross the road, hop on a trolley and off you go on the railway tracks along the Eder. if all that doesn't fill your holiday, drive past the Twistesee lake to Bad Arolsen and visit the beautiful baroque castle. In the immediate vicinity (approx. 3 km) is Massenhausen where you can visit a toy museum.our holiday flat is also interesting in winter.the surrounding Upland with the winter sports resort of Willingen, its many ski lifts, cross-country ski trails, ice rink, Ettelsberg lift and observation tower, adventure pool and climbing hall can be reached quickly.But also beautiful walks or bike tours around our village promise a relaxing holiday.the nearest train stop is about 2 km from our holiday flat.get on your bike and off you go straight from our flat to the Edersee cycle path.

    “Eine tolle Ferienwohnung für Leute, die es ruhig mögen. Positiv: Eine sehr geräumige Wohnung im Obergeschoss. gemütlich und rustikal eingerichtet. Ein wunderschöner Garten ist so angelegt, dass die Feriengäste einen Teil davon nutzen können. Carport und Fahrradschuppen runden das Ganze ab. Das Vermieterpaar ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber nicht aufdringlich. Negativ: Ein sehr hartes Bett kann schnell zu schlechtem Schlaf führen. (Daher nur die Sterne Restaurant: Pizza und Pasta Tutti Frutti in Korbach - Sehr leckere Pizzen zu moderaten Preisen und freundliches Personal Ausflüge: Fachwerk-Stadt Fritzlar. - Eine wunderschöne Stadt mit alten Fachwerkhäusern, eine Stadtmauer und dem Dom.”

    “Tolle Ferienwohnung, werden sicherlich wieder hinfahren. Positiv: Ruhige, großzügige, sehr gemütliche, helle, saubere und liebevoll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Wunderschöner Garten zur Mitbenutzung, separater Teil für die Gäste, toller Blick vom Wohnzimmer in den Garten. Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Negativ: Die Ausstattung mit Essgeschirr, Gläsern und vernünftigen Kochmessern könnte etwas besser sein. Restaurant: Kutscher Hus - Schöner Biergarten/Terasse, freundliche Bedienung. Ausflüge: Klosterpfad Ober-Werde - Hübsche Kirche, schöner Rundweg”

    “Positiv: Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nichts. Das Ehepaar Beckmann hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Wenn wir Fragen hatten war das Ehepaar Beckmann jederzeit für uns da. Können diese Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen.”
