Holiday home for max. 12 persons

“The house is beautiful and can easily be used by a large group. We were three families (six adults and six kids) and had plenty of space. There are five bedrooms on the 2nd floor of the house and one on the 1st floor. The garden is large and the pool area is amazing. The administrator Mr. Bruno was very helpful (he came by to check on the pool several times), but we had a very hard time understanding each other as we don't speak Italian and he didn't speak English so well.

The stay could have been a pure top rating if it wasn't for a number of disappointing experiences:

- We arrived very late in the evening. This was already agreed with the agency and administrator before our departure, but we were not told that we would be charged an extra €50 fee for this. Also, since we had to leave very early on our last day we had to "check out" the day before. This also cost us an extra €30 fee that we had not been informed about prior to booking.

- We had chosen to pay an extra fee for using the indoor spa. However, it didn't work or noone was able to help us make it work. We simply couldn't heat up the water. We contacted the administrator and the agency and was told that we just had to be patient - but even when it was turned on the entire night the water was still cold. The agency offered us only a partial refund of the spa fee of €210.

- The dishwasher didn't work properly. Plates and glasses were still dirty after use - so we eventually had to clean everything the old fashioned way.

- The main oven in the kitchen was out of order. There was a smaller oven that worked fine.

- The stereo didn't work.

- The WIFI connection didn't work. We sometimes managed to logon very briefly - but it was basically useless.”

“Dear Jakob, many thanks for taking the time to write us your review. We're glad to know that in the overall the villa met your expectations. About check-in time, it was agreed with the agency a late arrival around h 22 with no extra fee. However the property owner reported us that you arrived much more later than expected, so he decided to ask for an extra supplement. The same for the earlier check-out outside scheduled time, which was handled late in the evening and it was not previously agreed with our agency. We underline that the agency is not responsible for any additional cost demanded by the owner when not respecting normal house rules.
Property owners are the sole responsible for house maintenance and when our agency has been informed about the Jacuzzi functioning, we have immediately contacted the house keeper who confirmed it was correclty working, however we've tried to mediate for a refund which in any case is decided by the owner. About the other remarks, we have not been informed during the stay otherwise we would have checked those things out as well. We will of course check with the property owners.
