Finca with panoramic sea views
Finca, panoramic sea views, own private pool, genuine Canarian finca The finca is located on the sunny side of the Orotava Valley in the area with the best and most balanced climate in the world. Here you live in the original and traditional environment of rural Tenerife, surrounded by more avocado plantations, potato fields, wine growing, etc. The finca belongs to the municipality of Santa Ursula, but is located almost directly above Puerto de la Cruz and the well-known and popular urbanisation of Las Cuevas. Hikers will also find their favourite activity here: turn right on the village street and then take the next street on the left. Then you are already on a path that offers great views of the Orotava Valley and insights into the lives and houses of ordinary people in the countryside. Later, the path also leads into the forest. And if you take your car, you can be in the forest in less than 10 minutes. And the nearest beach is only 15 minutes away by car. The finca is also very conveniently located in all other directions:
The finca is a genuine avocado plantation, on which the house was built with real natural stone and 55 cm thick walls. It is one of those true works of art of old Canarian architecture that has largely been forgotten today. It is a detached house in perfect condition and perfectly preserved, which has only been adapted to today's needs and requirements with a few modest alterations. Whoever lives here lives in the old Canarian tradition! The finca is completely enclosed and fenced in, but it is not far from civilisation, so that (if you want to) you can always make contact with the locals. But hardly anyone here speaks German or English. So if you don't speak or understand a word of Spanish, it's more likely to be a friendly hola ! (hello). The large terraces offer plenty of opportunities to sit down or enjoy the warming sun on a lounger. Or simply enjoy the fantastic view of the sea, Puerto de la Cruz and the Teide. The shady avocado plantation is also worth a visit. And if it gets too warm, the private pool offers refreshment and swimming fun. And if you want to enjoy the view of the sea while swimming in your own private pool, the finca is just the thing for you. And if the sun gets too strong, the avocado trees at the edge of the pool area provide shade. A brick barbecue rounds off the finca's recreational facilities. The car park on the finca has space for two cars. Access to the car park is via the electrically operated roller shutter door, which you open with your remote control. A car is definitely recommended, but not absolutely necessary. There is a bus stop on the village street, a 3-minute walk from the finca. For people with walking difficulties or wheelchair users, the incline of the road makes it difficult to walk to the bus stop. A car is definitely recommended for these people. On the finca itself there are no problems for these groups of people, as everything is completely flat.
The finca consists of a detached finca house and an equally detached casita (small house). The finca house has a constructed area of around 140 square metres and can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms for 2 people each (each with 1.90 x 0.90 m beds and comfortable mattresses and a built-in wardrobe in the old Canarian traditional style), a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen with a small dining area, a lounge/dining room for up to 6 people, including a TV and DVD player.with TV and DVD player and an outside lounge with sofas for up to 6 people under the large covered terrace, and now, following the extension of the outside lounge, a dining table with 6 comfortable chairs so that you can enjoy the fantastic views at all times. The two main viewing sides of the outdoor lounge consist entirely of glass doors that can be slid completely over each other. This means you can slide 2 sides of the lounge fully open and practically sit outside. And if the days are not so warm in winter, you can close the doors and when the sun shines, the 12 mm thick glass (6x6 safety glass) ensures that the lounge is pleasantly warm.
The terraces of the finca have sun from early morning until sunset.
The outdoor saloon itself receives sunlight from midday until sunset. In winter, it can be seen over the low foothills of the mountains. And in summer, the huge solar sphere sinks into the sea. From this outside lounge and from the large terrace, there are fantastic views over fields and lush vegetation to the sea, Puerto de la Cr uz, the lower part of the Orotava Valley, the mountains and the towering crater of Mount Teide.
In front of and next to the house and the outside lounge are large terraces with natural stone paving.
On the same finca, only about two metres from the finca house, is the casita, a small house. It has a bedroom with two large 1.90 x 0.90 metre beds (which can also be separated) and a wardrobe, as well as its own bathroom with shower. It does not have its own kitchen or living room, so it is mainly used for sleeping. The exterior of the casita is rustic Canarian, as it was previously used as a bodega. The interior has been remodelled to adapt it to today's needs. The constructed area of the casita is about 25 square metres. For cooler winter evenings, the main house and the casita are equipped with oil central heating and there is no gas in the entire finca. The cooker, oven and hot water boiler are electrically operated. Although gas is considerably cheaper, the safety of our guests is very important to us. That is why the bedroom windows also have bars so that you can sleep carefree even when the windows are open.
It is only 10 to 15 minutes to three large supermarkets, bars and restaurants (including two award-winning ones) and shops of various kinds, as well as to Puerto de la Cruz and the beach. And the motorway, just 10 minutes away, takes you to all destinations on the island in all directions. And you are already on the right track to the mountains when you turn right from Finca Panoramica Vallemar into the village street.
The finca is offered as an oasis of tranquillity. Loud parties are therefore expressly forbidden, as the houses in the neighbourhood are normally also pleasantly quiet. It is a non-smoking house. Smoking is of course permitted on the terraces and outdoors. Attention! Current special agreement!
