holiday house 'Villa Ciliegio' with its own pool
The villa is a beautiful semi-detached house in the centre of the ancient and picturesque village of Bargecchia. The village is situated in the hills of Versilia, only 10 km from Viareggio and its seaside resorts. The house is located near the 13th-century church with its famous bell tower, whose bells were rung at the end of the first act of Puccini's Tosca. Beyond the church square are restaurants, a grocery shop, a butcher's shop and a greengrocer.
The villa and its gardens offer breathtaking views of Lake Massaciuccoli and the Versilia coastline. One garden, just outside the kitchen door, is equipped for outdoor dining, while another much larger garden houses a swimming pool (8x4 m, 1.20 m deep, open from 1 June to 15 September) and a furnished gazebo. There is also an olive grove and an orchard.
The house is 90 square metres and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 persons. It has a separate entrance and is spread over two floors. On the ground floor there is a living room with a double sofa bed and satellite TV, a bathroom and a kitchen (equipped with a fridge with freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave, American and capsule coffee machine, toaster). On the first floor there is a double bedroom with TV and panoramic sea view, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
