The house owner breeds some chickens and goats. Youth groups are not allowed. Two bicycles are available. The holiday home is 6 km from Dokkum. With many historical houses, canals, picturesque streets and good shops, Dokkum is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in The Netherlands. Do visit the Lauwersmeer National Park, where you can admire the breathtaking open landscape and rare birds.

    “Ausstattung ist einfach, solide. Treppe ins Obergeschoss gefährlich für kleine Kinder und ältere Leute. Deutsches TV nur bei Windstille zu empfangen-permanente Störungen und Ausfälle. Haus ist sehr sauber, Vermieter sehr nett und besorgt. Für Hundebesitzer nur bedingt empfehlenswert. Im Haus klappt es gut mit Hund, außerhalb unmöglich. Haus liegt an einer sehr schmalen Straße, die recht häufig befahren wird. Kein Fuß- und Fahrradweg, für Hund und Besitzer kaum ein Spaziergang möglich. Bei den abgehenden Straßen ebenso!     “Sehr ruhige Lage, Schafe, Kühe und der kleine Streichelzoo der Hauseigentümer sind die direkten Nachbarn. Hier kann man sehr schnell entschleunigen und zur Ruhe kommen.
    Die Ausstattung ist sehr geschmackvoll und die Räume wirken sofort einladend und wohnlich. Alle wichtigen Dinge sind vorhanden, es war sogar Kaffe und Tee sowie Gebäck zu unserer Ankunft bereitgestellt und auch an unsere Hunde war gedacht worden mit einem kleinen "Leckerchenkorb". Nochmals herzlichen Dank an die Hauseigentümer Ans und Ben!!!”
