Four-star holiday house, ideal for two acquainted families, with a large playing area and a terrace, right by the Ahr


This detached four-star holiday house enjoys a quiet and central location in the tranquil little village Ahrdorf, right by the Ahr and the Ahr cycle path. It is about quarter of an hour by car to the A1, the Nürburgring and the golf course in Hillesheim. You can go on a cycle tour with the e-bikes or mountain bikes available along the mostly flat Ahr cycle path, which leads along the river through a charming and varied natural and cultivated landscape with breathtaking natural backdrops, historical little towns and vibrant wine-growing towns. It is also an ideal starting point for motorbike tours. The owners offer guided tours.

The comfortably furnished house provides 150m² of living space and is on two floors, each with two bedrooms and a living room. It is therefore especially suitable for two acquainted families to spend a holiday together. The ground floor of around 75m² consists of a cosy living and dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath, shower attachment and WC, as well as a guest WC. The basement of the same size with access to the terrace and garden has a second living room, two double bedrooms, a large shower room with a WC and home trainer, as well as a storage and laundry room. The first bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with a generous double bed (200 x 200cm), the second with two single beds (100 x 200cm). The two bedrooms in the basement are furnished with a double bed (200 x 200cm) and a French double bed (160 x 200cm). The two living rooms offer inviting suites for up to four people to relax together after a day trip, with flatscreen satellite TVs providing entertainment. The large dining table in the upper living room is surrounded by eight leather rotating chairs, ideal for meals together or for a games evening. In the living room cupboard there are board games and plenty of information material about various trip destinations. The lower living room is a relaxing retreat with a comfortable armchair (electronic with support) and a TV/reading armchair, in addition to a sofa. There is a small selection of German, English and Dutch books. The separate kitchen enables comprehensive and convenient self-catering with a stove with a ceramic hob and oven, a dishwasher, a microwave and the usual small electrical appliances such as a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There is also a little breakfast table for two people in the kitchen. Owing to the large windows, both floors get plenty of pleasant daylight. Wireless Internet access, a travel bed and a highchair are available.

The large terrace to the rear of the house invites you to relax and dine outdoors. You can look out over a playing lawn towards the forested slopes by the Ahr. A large garden table with eight chairs, a parasol and two adjustable armchairs provide ample seating. You can use the grill for a grill party. Children can look forward to a range of play equipment such as a little slide, a trampoline, a swing and various other toys. The 2000m² site is fully fenced in. There are three car parking spaces right by the house, as well as a garage for parking bicycles or motorbikes, where you can also find the owner’s mountain bikes and e-bikes that can be borrowed for a fee.

Please note that barrier-free access to the ground floor is possible, whilst the basement can only be accessed through a door from the outside over a 5cm threshold (otherwise stairs to the basement). A child safety gate can be fitted to the stairs to the basement on request. Only dogs are allowed.

The cycle path runs right past the doorstep. A cake shop, local restaurant and children’s playground await your visit right in the village. You can do shopping in various supermarkets in Hillesheim or Blankenheim (ca. 15 mins. by car). The Nürburgring, Hillesheim, Gerolstein, Kasselburg etc. are within 15-20 minutes by car.
