Holiday home in Trent with garden, barbecue and terrace

Semi-detached house Villa "Seeschwalbe" - pure relaxation on Rügen - 1 dog welcome The house is located in the national park "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" on the Bodden about 3 km west of the Wittow ferry. It offers a wide view over fields and meadows. The water - the Bodden - is about 400 metres away. If you don't always need the Baltic Sea sand, you will find a place to swim here. There are also many hiking and cycling trails. Canoe/boat/bicycle hire stations are located along the road in Gingst and all neighbouring villages. Just look on the internet or ask the local people.

The property includes a carport for two cars with tool shed, 2 ground-level terraces, barbecue area, a small meadow. For dog owners, I would like to point out that the holiday village in our area largely dispenses with fixed fencing, but dogs have always remained well-behaved and have also found their way back.

There are also sun loungers in the carport, which should be cleaned after use and put back in the protective tarpaulins.

Balcony from one of the 3 bedrooms, the other bedrooms are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows that can be half opened. The large bathroom on the upper floor contains a large beautiful bathtub, shower, both bathrooms have high-quality tiles. The guest WC on the ground floor has a further shower. The kitchen includes a cooker with ceramic hobs, microwave, coffee filter and coffee pod machine, fridge/freezer combination (since 2020) with water dispenser. The living/dining area on the ground floor is bright and spacious, with TV and internet connection as standard. There is also a guest WC and utility room. In the utility room there is a washing machine and a separate freezer, which can be activated if necessary. Upstairs are the three bedrooms, each with 2 double beds, and the large bathroom.

Bathing area 400 m away on the Bodden (grass/reeds) available. Sandy beach 12 km via the ferry to Glowe beach. In case of rain 45 min by car to the adventure pool Sellin. ATTENTION: Fishing tours / deep-sea tours are recommended by the tourist centre or also offered in the immediate vicinity depending on the season directly on posted signs. An absolute paradise for cyclists and hikers.

Thatched-roof semi-detached house, very bright, south-facing with a wide unobstructed view over the green Rügen landscape. View of the Bodden from the window of the large bathroom is possible, but is not the real sea view from the sofa. WLAN connection available. Laundry service and final cleaning according to price information available. It is also possible to bring your own towels and bed linen; the use of bed linen is obligatory. Minimum stay 2 nights condition. Smoking is also prohibited in and around the property.

The barbecue was replaced last year. I ask guests to clean it after use as they would like to find it themselves. If you do not wish to do this, the manager will charge a cleaning fee for cleaning the barbecue on site.

    “Wäre schön wenn die Besitzer/Vermieter oder Agenturen worüber so etwas läuft, sich zwischendurch die Objekte ansehen. So kann man sich ein Bild machen was eventuell auch mal erneuert werden muss. Für den Preis zu teuer. Positiv: Die Aussicht von der Terrasse/Balkon war schön. Nur Felder in jede Richtung Negativ: Wer absolute Ruhe haben möchte ist in Trent genau richtig. Das einzige was man hier hört sind Gänse und Schwalben. Leider gab es nicht mal einen Bäcker im Ort. Man muss also immer mit dem Auto losfahren. Nun zum Haus. Von außen schön. Innen war es zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Leider war es nicht wirklich sauber. Es gibt 2 Duschen. In Erdgeschoss konnte man nicht duschen d eine Tür fehlt. Wenn man oben geduscht hat stand man knöcheltief im Wasser, weil es nicht ablief. Die Duschbrause musste man in die Hand nehmen und sich damit abduschen. Hielt nicht an der Stange, rutschte immer nach unten. Die Terrasse war voller Vogelkot da unter dem Balkon einverlassenes Schwalbennest war. In der Beschreibung stand extra das der Grill neu angeschafft wurde und man ihn sauber hinterlassen sollte. Das Grillrost war dick verkrustet, mussten es einen Tag einweichen bis wir es benutzen konnten. Es gab noch einige andere Dinge die nicht so schön waren. Restaurant: Die Räucherei - Sehr gutes Fisch Restaurant in Göhren”

    “Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub braucht und bietet genügend Platz. Es war sauber, die Betten frisch bezogen. Für große Menschen waren die Betten (2m) jedoch etwas kurz, weil man unten gegen das Holz stieß. Geschirr und Besteck waren in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Die Dekoration liebevoll und das Mobiliar bequem. Für die Außenbestuhlung waren genügend Auflagen vorhanden. (Eine Box dafür wurde geliefert und wird demnächst dafür wohl zur Verfügung stehen). In dem Schuppen konnten wir die Fahrräder abstellen (an ein Vorhängeschloss denken). Die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert. Es war etwas hellhörig, was für Häuser dieser Bausweise aber üblich ist.
    Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen, wenn einem die Lage passt. Für uns und den Hund war es genau passend, da der Weg entlang des Wassers sehr schön und weitläufig war. Zu den typischen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsläden musste man (relativ weit) fahren. Brötchen konnte man im Hotel in der Nähe kaufen, wenngleich sie etwas teuer waren.”

    “Wir würden wieder kommen. Rügen ist eine wunderschöne Insel. Der Hundestrand Glowe hat uns am besten gefallen. Julisruh ist auch schön. Binz muss man unbedingt besuchen. Putbus hat einen schönen kleinen Hafen und tolle Sitzgelegenheiten am Wasser zum verweilen. Positiv: Die Lage ist ruhig gelegen und man kommt überallhin. 200 m Luftlinie vom Wasser entfernt, dort kann man weniger gut schwimmen, aber einen schönen Abendspaziergang machen. Der Haushalt war top eingerichtet: Küchenmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher und ansonsten genug Geschirr für 5 Personen. Schöner Garten perfekt für unseren Hund. Schöner Tisch im Freien zum entspannen. Negativ: Die Liegen und Standkorb waren kaputt und am Herd hat die Umluft nicht funktioniert. Der Grill konnte man nur mit Alufolie verkleidet benutzen. Aber trotzdem fanden wir den Aufenthalt schön. Die Stechmücken waren nicht angenehm - bitte genügend Mittel zur Abwehr mitnehmen.”
