Bioclimatic house in Tenerife - Nature & Relax The bioclimatic house is located in Valle Jimenez, a small village of 600 inhabitants, a very quiet and rural area, strategically situated between the two main cities of the island (Santa Cruz and La Laguna), where you can enjoy most of the cultural offer of the island. It has a small supermarket, restaurants with typical gastronomy and a petrol station. We are on the edge of the Anaga Rural Park, biosphere reserve, it is ideal for the traveller who wants to live a different experience, whether for business, pleasure or hiking. Our accommodation is 20 minutes from the beach of Las Teresitas and the visitor centre of La Cruz del Carmen in Anaga biosphere reserve. 15 minutes from the historic city of La Laguna, World Heritage Site, and the centre of Santa Cruz, the capital of the island. 10 minutes from Tenerife North airport and 10 minutes from Tenerife North airport. minutes from Tenerife North airport and the motorway to our location, as well as the major hospitals on the island. (All times indicated are by car) This makes our house a strategic location for your visit to the island.

The main entrance of the cave has a cosy glazed porch of 15m2 equipped with garden furniture and reading lamp, allowing you to observe the stars with maximum comfort both in winter and summer. For better observation, a Konus telescope is available on request. The grounds are fenced so it is also perfect for children. There is a reading area under a Flamboyan tree composed of comfortable benches with cushions and small tables ideal to spend time enjoying the scenery. We have an organic vegetable garden with exotic fruit trees, aromatic herbs and vegetables, available for guests according to the harvesting season. THE POOL IS ATTACHED TO THE OWNERS' HOUSE. In this space, there is a terrace with four hammocks, two umbrellas, swimming pool, gardens with palm trees and seasonal flowers. In another part of the farm is also the association AMBAR, a non-governmental organization that works for the protection of donkeys and do activities in the educational, environmental and therapeutic with these great animals. If you wish, you can go hiking in the company of our donkeys, it is a unique experience that if you like nature and animals should not be missed. Check availability and price, the total of this amount will go to finance the AMBAR association.

The ground floor of 40 m² consists of the following rooms: a living room with fireplace, Smart flat screen TV and sofa bed for one person; a fully equipped kitchen with induction, microwave, coffee maker, kettle. A bathroom adapted for people with reduced mobility with shower, jacuzzi bath, hairdryer, hair dryer, hair iron, ecological soap, etc. A bedroom with two beds of 90 x 1,90, Smart TV and desk. Thanks to the high ceilings of the main room, a 10 m² loft with two 90 x 1.90 Japanese style beds was built. At the entrance of the cave there is a 15 m² glass terrace with comfortable furniture; ideal for reading, contemplating the landscape or the stars and a small garden.

Around our accommodation there are several hiking trails in the rural park of Anaga that can be done from the house itself. You can go climbing on foot, as there is an area for this sport near the house. The beach is 16 km away (Playa de las Teresitas). It can be accessed via a ramp, so it can also be, for example, a pram or wagon for children, 18 km away there is another beach (Playa de las Gaviotas), which is a nudist beach.

In the village there are restaurants and taverns with typical food, the nearest one is situated 500 metres away, which you can walk to if you wish. There is a small supermarket open every day (from Monday to Sunday), 3 kilometres away you can find a larger population centre (La Cuesta), where you will find more gastronomic options, supermarkets, chemists, laundries, etc.

Please note that only the ground floor of the house is wheelchair accessible.

The access to the Loft is not suitable for children under 9 years old or people with vertigo, in these cases a sofa bed is available in the 1,10 wide living room or in the bedroom on the ground floor. Internet is free and available in the house, reading area, solarium and swimming pool. The swimming pool is located next to the owners' house.     “Das Ferienhaus ist top ausgestattet. Von Der Kaffeemaschine über den Haarglätter bis zum Milschschäumer ist alles vorhanden. Die Einrichtung ist modern, sehr zweckmäßig und neuwertig. Beim Haus der überaus netten Gastfamilie befindet sich ein Pool und eine eigene Küche mit Grillplatz. Antonio und Belen versorgten uns während des Urlaubs auch immer mit wertvollen Tipps und schönen Ausflugszielen. Die Unterkunft liegt im Valle Jimenez, ein Dorf in den Bergen. Wir verbrachten einen wunderschönen, sehr individuellen Urlaub dort, fernab von den üblichen Touristenhotspots. Vor dem Haus befinden sich tolle Plätzchen, die zum Verweilen und Entspannen einladen. Ein Mietauto ist unbedingt erforderlich.”

    “Außergewöhnliches Objekt in einer Höhle, durch ausgeklügelte Belüftung und Lichtschacht jedoch nicht dunkel oder beklemmend. Sehr modern eingerichtet, liebevoll dekoriert und ausgestattet. Es ist sowohl im Küchenbereich als auch im Bad alles vorhanden, was man brauchen könnte.
    Es steht eine Fülle an Infomaterial über die Insel und z. B. Restaurants zur Verfügung.
    Im großzügig zur Verfügung stehenden Aussenbereich befinden sich ein verglaster Eingangsbereich zur Wohnung mit Sitzmöbeln und schöner Beleuchtung, sowie mehrere gemütliche teils windgeschützte Sitzecken. Weiterhin gibt es einen sehr schönen Poolbereich mit voll ausgestatteter Aussenküche.
    Auf dem Gelände leben außer den sehr netten und jederzeit für alle Fragen offenen Vermietern noch drei Esel und drei Hühner.
    Die Lage ist schön ruhig, das Objekt befindet sich in einem am Berghang gelegenen kleinen Dorf.
    Es empfiehlt sich, ein Auto zu mieten, mit diesem ist dann alles gut zu erreichen, je nach Interesse die nächstgelegenen Städte Santa Cruz oder La Laguna, ebenso das zum Wandern einladende Anagagebirge.
    Das Ferienhaus ist für Urlauber, die fern vom Trubel Entspannung suchen, absolut empfehlenswert.”
