This detached two-storey chalet is situated amidst meadows and forests in the tiny village Magdfeld, inviting you to enjoy sports or to rest and relax. It is an ideal place to take time out from everyday life, as you will find no traffic, noise or hustle and bustle.
With around 150m² of living space, a maximum of eleven people can be accommodated comfortably. It is suitable for families, couples or groups. The living and dining room has a sofa bed (90cm wide), a TV and a large dining table with benches and chairs, where you can enjoy meals together. The wooden kitchen is equipped with an oven, an electric stove, a fridge, a dishwasher, a toaster, a coffee machine, crockery, pans and a dining table with two benches and chairs. Two of the three bedrooms are furnished with two joined single beds that cannot be separated. The third bedroom is in the attic and has a double bed (200cm wide) and four wooden berths (90cm wide) with curtains for privacy. The attic can also be used as an exercise room, for example for a yoga group. There are two bathrooms, one with a rustic wooden bathtub, the other with a shower, as well as a day WC with a toilet and a washbasin. The owner can provide board games for all ages. All the rooms have heating and free Wi-Fi. There is partial underfloor heating. You can use a washing machine free of charge.
A garden awaits you outside with a veranda and a charcoal grill. You can spend wonderful grill evenings here and enjoy togetherness. If you would like to retreat for a while, for example to read a book, you can find a quiet spot on the cosy balcony to relax with a fabulous view. Young guests will enjoy the many animals at the neighbouring farm, while parents spend time in the garden or the cosy old parlour. The farm can supply you with fresh milk and eggs. Smoking is prohibited throughout the chalet. You can park your car free of charge on one of the three private outdoor parking spaces. Pets are allowed on request.
“In the last two years, my father, my aunt and I have turned one of our dreams into reality. We have transformed the mountain chalet, where my grandfather once stayed when tending to the cows, into a cosy and beautiful holiday chalet. Our wish was and is to preserve the value and the tradition of our chalets, so we have tried to change the chalet, which had been unused for some time, as little as possible. The steep stairs, the low doors and some slanting walls show our guests how much of the chalet we were able to preserve. These characteristics make our chalet a unique and authentic gem.” The owner and his family do not live right by the chalet, but in the holiday village Algund near Meran, but are happy to assist with any queries at any time.
The location close to nature, by the Meraner Höhenweg, invites you to go on lovely trips all year round, whether it is herb walks in the spring, mountain walks and picnics by the stream in summer, autumn walks through colourful forests, or snow hikes in winter. The nature and the accommodation never close their doors. St. Martin adn St. Leonhard im Passeier, as well as the town Meran and the surroundings are within easy access by car, or by bike for sporty guests. With 300 days of sunshine a year, the Passeier valley invites you to enjoy nature. The chalet is also very cosy on rainy days. As it is amidst nature, there are no direct public transport connections. The last shops are in St. Martin and Riffian. A one-lane mountain road leads from St. Martin to the chalet.
