Cosy holiday home with large balcony
This holiday home is located in a residential area in a semi-detached house in the centre of Ahrensbök in the Ostholstein district on the Bay of Lübeck. Shopping facilities and a bus station are in the immediate vicinity. The house was built in 1927 and last partially renovated in 2021.
Due to a construction site on the main road, there is increased traffic in our street. Unfortunately, this sometimes leads to noise pollution. According to the municipal administration, the construction site should be completed by mid-July 2025.
The approx. 100 m² house has a beautiful veranda on the ground floor with a dining table with space for up to six people. From here you can reach the large living room, which is furnished with a cosy couch, a coffee table and other seating options, and the newly furnished bedroom with a double bed. In the fully equipped kitchen-living room there is an oven, a ceramic hob, a fridge, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle, a filter coffee machine, an espresso machine, a small freezer and an extendable dining table with bench and chairs. The kitchen leaves almost nothing to be desired. The bathroom features a bathtub, a toilet, a washbasin and a hairdryer. On the first floor you will find a bedroom with a double bed (2 metres wide), two bedside tables, a sofa and a chest of drawers with a TV. The second bedroom has a bed for two people (1.60 m wide), and there is also a large wardrobe. There is also a bathroom with a shower, a toilet, a washbasin and a travelling iron. The landlord will be happy to provide you with a cot and a high chair free of charge. The house is not wheelchair accessible and is not one hundred per cent childproof. WLAN is available free of charge. There are also two mobile fans available.
There is a large balcony on the first floor where you can also barbecue. A charcoal barbecue is available for this purpose. The balcony is also furnished with a table, chairs and cushions. There is also a sun awning that can be retracted and extended by hand. The front garden with two beach chairs can be used by you alone. There is also a free parking space for two cars. If you would like to bring your own bicycles, they can be parked in the courtyard. You are welcome to bring your dog with you for a fee, but it should be supervised when outside, as the house is not fenced in and our tomcat bravely defends "his sanctuary".
Smoking is allowed in the holiday home, please understand that we are not allowed to accept youth groups (participants under the age of 18)!
The marvellous Baltic Sea beach can be reached by car in less than ten minutes. Eutin and Holstein Switzerland are about 16 kilometres away. You can also enjoy yourself as a "petri-disciple" on the outskirts of the village. For children, there is a well-frequented skating rink directly opposite, with a climbing wall, play and sports equipment and a basketball court.
To explore the surrounding area without a car, the bus station is directly opposite, from where you can easily reach Lübeck or Eutin by bus.
In the village you will find restaurants, cafés, an ice cream parlour, bakery, Aldi, Lidl and much more within walking distance.
You can also go horse riding directly in the village and there is also a tennis court. A golf course awaits you about eight kilometres away. The landlord is happy to help with bookings.
