Holiday villa 'Belfronte' with water view

The holiday villa is located in the countryside outside the city of Syracuse. It is surrounded by citrus and olive groves.

The villa, with great attention to detail, consists of two independent terraced houses, each with its own entrance, one of which is inhabited by the owners and the second is available for guests. It offers seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and can accommodate up to twenty people. It is divided into two levels. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen-living room of about 40 m², where it is possible to gather in a convivial atmosphere, even in large groups, or even to organise parties. A large wooden dining table is the heart of the room. Along one wall are sofas and armchairs. The elegant kitchenette is well equipped: it includes a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, gas cooker, oven and toaster. The ground floor offers three bedrooms, two quadruple and one triple, each with a double bed. One of the four bedrooms also offers a bunk bed, the second has two single beds and the triple room has a single bed. Each room also has its own bathroom with shower. A staircase leads to the attic floor. Here are the other four bedrooms, each with a double bed, one of which also has a single bed. These rooms also each have their own bathroom with shower. The dimensions of the double beds are 160x190cm, those of the single beds 80x190cm. All rooms and the kitchen-living room are air-conditioned (hot/cold). The kitchen-living room and all bedrooms are equipped with TV with satellite channels. On request it is possible to add two extra beds for one person each, one in one of the quadruple rooms and one in one of the triple rooms. The villa is surrounded by a plot of approximately 10,000 m². The outdoor areas of the holiday home are independent of those of the owners. Right next to the house is a veranda furnished with several tables and chairs, where you can enjoy your meals and relax in the shade. A brick barbecue and a gas cooker allow you to prepare meals outdoors. A table tennis table and a dartboard provide entertainment. For those who prefer sunny spots, tables and chairs are also available in the garden. A hammock invites you to relax and read. Of particular interest is the swimming pool, which is surrounded by a sun terrace with sun loungers, parasols and deck chairs. Awnings provide pleasant shade. The pool can be used together with the house owners. For the little ones, there are children's games in the garden. The property has a large car park that can accommodate several vehicles. Guests can also use two bicycles free of charge. One of the bedrooms on the upper floor offers access to a small terrace with table and chairs.

The owners of the house will be happy to assist guests.

Restaurants, pizzerias, grocery shops and bars can be found 2 km away in the nearest village. Bicycle hire is also available nearby. The location of the holiday villa is ideal for exploring the south-eastern coast of Sicily. Thanks to the proximity to the city centre of Syracuse (10 km), shops and services can be reached quickly and easily. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the necropolis of Pantalica, the Baroque town of Noto, Cavagrande di Cassibile, Fonte Ciane and the natural oasis of Vendicari.

    “De woning is wat verouderd. De huiskamer en slaapkamers met de badkamers zijn sober en eenvoudig maar voldoen.
    De keukenuitrusting is onvoldoende voor een grote groep. De elektrische toestellen hebben een gebrekkige werking en kwaliteit. De koel/diepvriescombinatie is ruim onvoldoende voor een grote groep. Een nieuwe ijskast + een extra ijskast voor een grote groep is noodzakelijk. De huisraad (servies, potten, pannen, bestek, glazen) is totaal verouderd en ruim onvoldoende.
    In elke kamer is er onafhankelijke airco en dit is wel nodig bij de zomerse temperaturen in Sicilië. Keerzijde is dat het elektriciteitsvreters zijn, hou rekening met €100 extra per week.
    Het zwembad is top, groot genoeg en prima onderhouden. Ook de tuin en de speelmogelijkheden voor kinderen zijn prima.
    De woning was proper bij aankomst.
    De ligging in een smalle doodlopende straat is excellent, rustig en geen verkeer. De woning ligt in en is omgeven door citroenboomgaarden.
    De eigenaar die deels in de aanliggende woning woont was zeer vriendelijk en gedienstig. Hij spreekt enkel Italiaans, maar lost dit op met een zgn. vertaalgadget zodat communicatie goed kan verlopen.
